Is there a way to manually install the fax driver only, without going through the hassle of installing the entire HP driver package?
Perhaps via the device manager or installing specific DLLs/DATs?

I have an Envy 7640 all in one printer. When purchased I was uaing Micrpsoft products and had no trouble getting it all to work. I have recently switched to an IMAC and I can't get the scanner to work. The printer & fax work but not the scanner. Any ideas what I need to do?

Officejet Pro 8610 scanner not working after moving to Windows 10 machine from Windows 7
After moving printer/scanner to new Windows 10 machine from Windows 7 I can not get the scanner to function properly. When trying to scan item the following error message is displayed:
"HP Officejet Pro 8610 was not found"
I have tried to uninstall, re-install, update drivers, ect. I have run HP Printer/Scanner Dr programs with no results.
Scanner seems to function properly but is not acknowledged by computer system.
Printer is connected via ethernet cable through router.

OfficeJet 4650 scanning comes out a giant rainbow
Printer is a year old and no problems until today.
Went to scan a doc to a pdf and it came out as a solid sheet of all colors. And it happlily printed it.
Checked connections, rebooted, unplugged USB & power, rebooted.
Scanned from printer, scanned fron PC, same issue.
Hardwired USB.
No error messages.
Printer works fine
Driver 36.0.34.53151 I do not have admin rights to this PC to update driver. I can request if we think this is the issue.

Scan Multiple Pages to one document automatically
My old HP printer gave me an option to scan another page without having to open the printer software on my computer, as described in your tutorial (Scanning multiple pages to a .pdf.... ) To date, my multiple page documents have all scanned as individual documents and I cannot find a way to create a single document directly from the printer screen. Thank you.

OfficeJet 7310's Webscan
Am trying this Webscan feature in the browser at local 192.168.2.50. Now the scan does work. But that is it. I have no options other than previewing and scanning.
This is on a freshly installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit, and I have tried Firefox (primary), Internet Explorer, and Chrome. No options other than preview, scan, image type (picture or text) and document size.
Are there supposed to be other options? And where does the pictures get scanned to? I can not find any new images on the computer.

Excessive file size for scans
I have 2 HP Multi function printers. I was able to correct the newest printer (HP6900) but the HP6600 is giving me grief. Scanned documents that should be about 3-4 Mb are being scanned to my computer with a file size of about 20Mb. This makes it impossible to attach and email. I have removed and installed and still the same issue. I had the same issue with both printers and am not really sure what I did to correct on the HP6900 as I tried to download firmware and drivers several times. When I check the firmware and drivers for the HP6600 it states that everything is up to date.

Scan to email "The password is incorrect."
Hello,
I'm trying to use my HP 8620 to scan to email. It had worked for years and all of a sudden stopped working, throwing the error "the password is incorrect' on the HP Utility, "Incorrect credentials. Check your username/password and try again." when I navigate to the browser address, and "Username or password are incorrect. Make sure both user account and password are valid." in the printer UX. I am sending from a gmail account with 2 step auth and have tried changing the port between 465 and 587. Nothing works. Please advise. Thanks!

When I try to scan to computer, the scanner says that no computer is found.
When I try to scan a document to my computer, the "scan to computer" is not enabled and I get an error message that no computer is found. I have tried many times to run HP Print to Scan doctor and it has been of no help. I even reinstalled the driver with the disc that came with my printer/scanner/ all in one, but still no scanning.

I have a iMac 12,1. I just bought a HP Officejet 3830. I can print. I can't scan from the printer to the computer. The App store won't download HP Easy Scan app. Is my Mac just too old? How can I scan?

Can't run Solution Center, so can't scan
I try to run HP Solution Center to use the scanner, and get the message, "Cannot run because your device installation is not complete." But it was complete, I've scanned things before. USB cable is in (I can use the printer). I had trouble before, apparently because of a Windows 10 update, and an HP technician solved the problem for me. But this time I can't contact HP; on HP website, I put in the serial number and product number (I couldn't find a product number on the printer, but found it on the box), but get the message,"We are unable to determine your warrenty status for the product..." I've only had this printer for 3 months. How can I get help on this?

However, I have no idea how to "uninstall and reinstall the FULL feature software." As far as I know (I've had my HP7520 for five years), any software I may have installed was obtained online (as opposed to a disk). My scanner has been working for a long time, but suddenly, I can neither print nor scan and keep getting the Scanner Unreachable message, although the printer indicates it's happily connected to the internet, as is my computer.
I need very specific instructions. I'm old.

Scanning document automatically saves previously scanned page
When i scan a document I save it. Then if i scan another document it automatically saves it to a multidocument page with the previous scanned page even though i didnt select to "add a page". If i scanned 4 things 4 hours apart it would still save all the previously scanned documents that day! How do i stop this? We run a business and we have been sending clients other clients invoices without knowing on their files we sent them.
