The ADF was working perfectly but dusty so I cleaned it with my finger and a cloth and it has not worked since. When I feed Multiple sheets of paper it dings but does not feed. It will still scan anf copy on the flatbed.

MFP M176n scanner problem under Windows 10
Good afternoon!
There is a problem with the operation of MFP MFP M176n running Windows 10.
Windows version: 10, Build 1703 15063.726.
The version of the MFP driver: 15.0.15321.1207 (downloaded from the official site).
The firmware version of the printer: 20160926 (downloaded from the official site).
Used laptop: Hewlett Packard HP 17-ak015ur (new, bought two days ago, installed all Windows updates)
The printer prints normally, but the scanner does not work. When you try to scan, the message "The scanner is not available: the connection to the scanner could not be established ..." (see screenshot). Moreover, scanning is not available either when using the WIA driver, or when using TWAIN.
When you connect this MFP to other computers running Windows 7 and Windows 8, the scanner works fine.
I ask you to help solve the problem of the scanner running Windows 10.

Scanning family photos
I have an HP Officejet Pro 6830 All-In-1 printer which can scan up to 1200 dpi using the PC software. I have a large number of family photographs which I want to scan and was wondering if this resolution was adequate to make high-quality copies.
Does anybody have experience in doing this?

7612 error : Scanner failure, can't scan, copy or send a fax
Following the scan doctor suggestions fails to fix pblm.
After restart, occasionally I can scan a couple items to computer, then it goes to the error condition again.

HP Color LaserJet Managed Flow MFP M880 - Document feeder not feeding
Hello
My HP Color LaserJet Managed Flow MFP M880 is having issues when trying to scan documents.
When I start a job to scan a document to email the rollers inside the document feeder don't lower to connect with the paper and just start spinning against nothing, it then thinks that there is a paper jam when there is not.
Does anyone know a fix for this? I was not able to find anything in the troubleshooting section for this printer.

HP Printer (DW 477) - Scan to Email Not Working
The issue is that I cannot for the life of me get Scan to Email working correctly. This was set up before after many calls and emails with HP Support, only to then discover we needed the printer motherboard to be replaced. We then set up the Scan to Email function working correctly with no issues.
Unfortunately, we locked ourselves out of the web interface after we fat-fingered the password twice. So, we had to reset the printer. Now the printer throws the below error when setting up scan to email:
"The printer is unable to connect to the remote destination. Check your configurations and try again.
Click "OK" to go back."
The configurations are fine as far as I'm aware. They are as follows:
To: Blank
From: Default From:
Default From: <myemailaddress>
Default Display Name: <mydisplayname>
SMTP Server: smtp.office365.com
SMTP Port: 25 (I have also tried 587, though it was certainly working with port 25 before).
Always Use Secure Connection (SSL/TLS): Unchecked (though I have tried this with all of the options checked).
Maximum Size of Email: Unlimited
Server Authentication: Server requires authention
- Username: <myemailaddress>
- Password: <mypassword>
I click on 'Apply' and then try sending a test email, but it simply throws the above error message. I've checked our local firewall and can't see anything, which isn't surprising considering it's configured to allow emails to pass through.
Does anyone have any suggestions for what else we could try to get this working? This product is becoming most frustrating to use.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi.
i have just upgraded to a new printer and it has the newer scanning manager.
i want to scan 30 pages in from the automatic feeder and save as seperate PDFs.
on the old manager you selected more options and there was a tick box for save as seperate files or save as one file.
i cant seem to find this option in the new manager

Printer and computer connected to wireless, but cannot see each other
My computer and scanner are not communicating. The Printer/scanner is connected to my network and pass the network test. My computer is connected to the same network and internet, but cannot communitcate with the printer scanner. I did turn off my firewall temporarily with no improvement. I have re-setup the wireless on the printer with no success. I even switched wireless routers (I have 2) on both devices with no success. Any ideas?

Reset Pin for HP Printer 8610
I never set a PIN for my home printer. Now I want to scan to email and its asking for a PIN. I have a standard set of PINs that I use for devices and none of them work so I'm guessing this is something new.
How can I reset the PIN for this?

Fax Noise Error.....appears I can fax but NOT receive fax -- frustrated with HP Customer Service!
I am replacing a older model print/fax/scan/copy device with this new Office Jet 4655 and everything works EXCEPT I can not receive a fax.
The fax functionality on my previous unit worked fine. But now when I try to install fax functionality on the 4655 printer, I get a message saying that the fax test failed the fax line noise test.
This makes no sense to me and I spent nearly an hour with 3 different customer service HP reps (mysterously I got disconnected 2 of the 3 times). 3rd rep (Roy) told me there is NOTHING that can be done and to call my phone company. I called Verizon and they tested the lines and there is NO noise!
The phone works fine even when connected through the printer that is unable to fax, and there is no detectable noise on the line when using the phone.
I am about ready to RETURN this printer and get a new one.
I would appreciate any suggestions that anyone has on getting the fax functionality to work on the new printer.

HP Envy 5530 won't scan/print
My HP Envy all-in-one no longer scans or copies. It will print just fine, but when I try to scan or copy anything I get a black page of lines. I included a screen shot.
The printer hasn't been moved, so nothing could have physically damaged it. This was happening prior to downloading the new OS on my macbook. When I did update, I unistalled and reinstalled the printer software, but am still having the same issue.

PageWide Pro MFP 772dn doesn't scan to network folder
Hello there,
A customer has recently purchased a PageWide Pro MFP 772dn. We managed to setup network printing, but we can't get network scanning to work. We operate in a Windows 2012 R2 domain environment.
When trying to setup a network folder contact through EWS, clicking 'Verify access' results in an error 'A problem occurred during the test. Click "Edit" to check your settings, and then try again. For more information, visit www.hp.com/support. (pgAddrBookContacts-ErrorConnectionFailed)'. Also, when we try to setup network folder through Quick Sets, clicking 'Apply and Test' leads to 'The printer is unable to connect to the remote destination. Check your configurations and try again.' error message. Finally, when we try to scan we get this error on the printer: 'Cannot connect to \\[COMPUTER NAME]\[Shared Folder Name]. Make sure the remote computer is turned on and retry.'
All the network settings are correct on the printer and the file server - UNC\network credentials\permissions. Firewall is turned off on the printer.
We've also tried to upgrade the firmware (currently the printer runs LIMOFWPP1N004.1743A.00) with no luck.

HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus AIO automatic document feeder paper jam.
None of the solutions listed fixed the problem I am having with my auto document feeder.
Any paper (thin or thick) jams . It get pulled to the left side, jams and crumbles the paper.
I would really appreicate some help on this

Envy 5661 won't scan to thumbdrive
I am unable to scan photos to my thumbdrive. Scanning to computer is working. However, when I try to send it to thumbdrive, the printer directs me to connect thumbdrive, which I do, but then there is nothing, even an error notice.
When I use HP scanning dr it states there is a driver problem. I have used the troubleshooting tips given to no avail.
My wireless connection is good. The thumbdrive is good and have even tried a different thumbdrive with the same results.
I have disconnected and reconnected and restarted both my computer and printer. I have even downloaded all software a second time to insure it loaded correctly.
Any help would be appreciated.

both my printers HP6600 and HP3350 stopped scanning
I have 2 printers installed - an HP 6600 and an HP3530.
The HP6600 worked great on my last laptop but when I purchased a new ASUS laptop and installed that printer, it prints fine but will not scan - it gives an error message that no computer is found. I tried reinstalling several times, downloaded drivers from the HP website, all to no avail. I also tried to install as wireless - still not working. I get a message that scanner communication cannot be established. I tried to connect via the different USB ports - 2, 3 - nothing works.
I run Windows 10. On my previous laptop with the Windows 10 I had no problem both printing and scanning with this printer. I would really apprecaite if someone had a solution on how to get the printer to scan for me.
The HP3530 worked find both printing and scanning with my new ASUS until Microsoft issued a new mage update to Windows several weeks ago - one that changed the display on my laptop and my phone with all the icons... Following that updaate, my scanner stopped communicating with the laptop and then stopped printing as well. Now I can't get it to work at all. I uninstalled then reinstalled with updated drivers that I downloaded from HP - no luck - same story as with the HP6600.
Any ideas??? I am at my wits end here.

please help machine has ceased to scan think it is a hardware problem still in warranty no help HP
hp envy7640 new april this year. have scanned many docs. last week it quit scan display shows!SCANNER PROBLEM!
Instructs to turn off and on again. Absouletly no help. Cannot find any help from HP website just going around in circles.
still under warranty. cannot find a HP person to contact.
