HP Smart App is not working
The Smart App has stopped working on my Android. When I sign in and it goes through processing. I receive an error code UA_400_EB000U0100. It states something went wrong and to try again later to resolve the issue or contact HP Support. HP Support is not being responsive. This is really troublesome . I need support ASAP. Thank you

Using an IPad Pro I am needing to scan higher than 300dpi with the HP Envy 6000
I am using the HP smart app with my IPad Pro for my HP Envy 6000 printer/scanner. The app will only let me scan at 300dpi. I am wanting to scan at 400dpi. I can only seem to find a scanner extensions for Windows not for iOS. Any suggestions?

Windows 20H2 update - scanner problems
Windows 20H2 update has disabled LAN connectivity for scanning.
Printing works fine, but none of the available HP scanning software works (HP Smart, HP Scan and Capture etc)

After firmware update MCP2CN2049AR, fax no longer works
I recently applied firmware update MCP2CN2049AR. Now, I am unable to fax. I receive the following message: "The printer's fax component has become damaged." I went into fax settings, and ran a fax test, and received the same message. I tried resetting the printer by unplugging it, and waiting 60 seconds by plugging it back in. Same result. Nothing else has changed except the firmware update. The phone line is operational. Is it possible to downgrade the firmware?

HP Envy 120 Scan Issues - Vertical Colour Lines
Previous solutions have been archived so asking for help.
- Both Scan & Copy shows a full page of vertical colour lines on preview and generated file.
- Printer has been reset and factory defualts restored.
- It is working completely fine as a printer.

Erratic scan functions
The scan function is very erratic - I never know what file it will save to, whether it will be .pdf or .jpg, or how the controls will display on the control screen.
I have the most up-to-date firmware and keep up with Windows updates.
It has been semi-erratic from day one, but has grown increasingly worse

Scanner missed hand written notes on a page
Hi I have been using an;
HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow M880z A3 Colour Multifunction Laser Printer
And in the most part this has operated successfully. Recently I scanned a carbon page from a pad and just one section of the carbon copy was missing on the scan. I used the same pen and I hope the same pressure when writing so I’m not sure why this would be the case. Can anyone offer a suggestion as to why the text would be missing?

Horizontal line on the bottom of all scanned and copied pages, printing is OK.
All my scanned and copied documents have a thick black line at the bottom of the page. It's sort of green if I use colour.
All printed pages are OK.
Using genuine HP cartridges.
I have followed the rest procedure (mains disconnected and wait 20 mins ) and also cleaned the glass. Still not fixed.
It has been working OK for several months, not heavy usage just occasional scans/copy.
Any ideas please?

How to enable Scan to Computer/ Hp Smart
Hello,
I am having issues enabling my printer to use the "Scan to Computer" feature. I would like help or advice on how to enable this feature. I am using a Hp OfficeJet 8720 All-in-One Printer on MacOS Big Sur also using the Hp Smart Application.
Please allow me to jot down what I have tried to do already. I have Downloaded Hp Smart. I have used the Hp Smart Application and have gone to > Printer Settings > Advanced Settings > Scan Tab > Scan to Computer. Where, here I am prompted with a message that says, "You cannot use this function because it has been disabled." I have looked throughout the application to look for an option that states that I can enable this. However, I cannot find any option.
I have also looked online for similar scanning issues and it keeps telling me that I need to use the Hp Utility Application. However, I believe this application has been discontinued and replaced with Hp Smart since I cannot find a download link doesn't that refer me to the Hp website.
I have also tried resetting the printer to factory settings and I am willing to try this again, but this did not work for me either.
Going forward from here, I am a bit confused about what to do next. So, if you have encountered a similar issue and have found a solution, please message me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unable to scan to my network
I have an HP color laserjet MFP M477fdw that used to scan to my network using an older PC. The PC died in December and I purchased an HP Omen 25L. I have just recently tried to scan to my network with this new PC, but it is not working. I have enabled sharing of the scanning folder on my new PC. When I try running HP Print and Scan Doctor, it finds the printer, but then I get a message that a later version of the printer software is available. When I clicked to Install Software, I get a message Download Failed. I went directly to the HP software page and downloaded the latest version and installed it. But, I am still unable to get past the error message in HP Print and Scan doctor that says The HP CLJM477 was not found.

ERROR CODE 0X00829C98 HW_WATCHDOG C
Getting error message ERROR CODE 0X00829C98 HW_WATCHDOG C every time I try to copy or scan. Before last update it caused the printer to flash rapidly and I had to shut it down. Now just the error message and can't do anything unless I unplug it every single time. Not the best printer I've ever had. Always had trouble with it.

HpEnvy 5540 won't copy or scan from the glass but will print ONLYblack & white wireless from any dev
HP Envy will not copy nor scan from glass. It will print from any wireless device. However, it will only print in black & white. Ink cartridges are full, cartridges were cleaned via clean program. No alignment since not printing in color. There is a light on the glass when attempting to scan. Unit has been unplugged, replugged in. Software/ printer has been uninstalled & reinstalled from devices. Printer is up to date on updates.

Will print but won't scan
I have Deskjet 3755 All in One. It continues to print (wired connection) but has stopped scanning. I get an error message that says that the printer is currently unavailable. I had been "playing" with some of the buttons and think it just may be an issue with that. Tried restarting computer and unplugging printer but it hasn't helped.
