Am using a MacBook Pro and after scanning some documents couldn't move them to files. The version of my scanning software was out of date. I've downloaded the current driver, version 1.9.3 and understand that it may not be compatible with Cataline, but that there is a fix. I am dead in the water because my limited tech abilities have gone as far as they're going to go. Need help, please. Now my scanner doesn't respond at all.

Using glass plate, copy feature generates a perfect copy.
Printer output is perfect.

HP 6968
My HP 6938 screen no longer recognizes any touch commands. Also the Wifi signal indicator is flashing. The printer will print a document from the PC, but it won't copy, scan or fax.

HP ENVY 5532 - unable to scan or copy
Recently the printer (HP ENY 5530 e-All-in-One Printer series / Model 5532 / firmware version ORL1CN1547AR) has not been able to scan or copy either via HP printer assistant or by menu/buttons on the printer. There is no problem printing from devices on my home network.
Latest drivers installed. Print and Scan Doctor processes followed three times but without success. During Step 2 the Driver Check cannot be completed (scanner cannot communicate with product), Windows WIA Scan cannot be completed and no Test Scan can take place.
Printer unplugged and desktop computer restarted on a number of occasions also.
Checked a few of the forum postings to see if anything else can be done but could not find anything.

I need to program a carriage return
The company that I work for just purchased a barcode scanner HP: Model NLS-HR21 and I went to this website to find the manual. I found the instructions for a carriage return and followed them exactly as instructed. As I tested the scanner on a 2D barcode it still does not what it's expected to do. Which is when I scan the 2D barcode into the find window of excel ( most recent version) it should populate that window ( Which it does ) and then automatically do the search ( which it doesn't ). I shouldn't have to press enter manually for it to do the search after scanning the 2D barcode.
The instructions that I'm using are from the HP Imaging Barcode Scanner Product Reference Guide, Page 254 Quick setup.

HP 5520 AIO printer won't turn off with power button, display screen blank. Power button slow blin
After a paper jam and a lot of noise, I was able to clear the paper jam but thereafter the printer will not scan or copy. It will
just hang with a busy circle in the display window. After about 10 minutes the display times out to a blank screen and the
power button does a slow blink. I can cycle power, hold the power button in for 30 seconds, then reconnect power and the
printer immediately starts back up, displays normally and reconnects to wifi. After about 10 minutes the display goes blank and the power button does a slow blink like it it asleep. It will not awaken and I have to do the power reset to get it back on line. No error messages.

Keeps saying paper jam but nothing there and carriage won't move
I wanted to change the toner cartridges, but when I turned the printer on, it said they're was a paper jam. I have done EVERYTHING the trouble shooting guides said - opened everything, turned the power on & off, etc. Nothing. There's no obstacle. There's nothing there. But it still says paper jam, and the cartridges are stuck on the right side and WILL NOT move.

HP Scanner 5590 ADF fails to feed pages
The pickup roller on my HP Scanner 5590 ADF does not feed a sheet. The roller is supposed to drop down. When the scanner calls for a sheet the gears spin and try to engage the drop down gear. But it seems to slip with a slight clunking sound and wiggles the roller assembly but doesn't drop it. It will does this a couple of times then throws an error that there is a paper jam.
I put a paper wad in the photocell feed detector so I can watch the roller action with the lid open. The ADF has hardly been used. I did not see any stripped or broken gears. Occasionally something works and the feed roller will drop with a fair amount of force. What gears should I be looking at to find the problem?

Unable to scan to email, An error has occurred. (pgEmailSetup-403)
I have tried multiple email addresses and I am receiving the same error. Attempted the Manual DNS settings fix and that did not resolve the issue. Any other suggestions?

TWAIN scanner driver for PageWide Pro 477dw MFP
Is there an available TWAIN driver for the scanner? The financial application our credit union uses needs the scanner to support a TWAIN driver in order to scan multi-page documents into their system.

Scanning documents from an Envy 5014
When I try to scan a document and touch the scan button on the face of the printer the printer will identify my PC to send the document to BUT then I get a message to go to the 123.HP.Com web site....I presumed that was to add/set up my printer for scanning. However, there is no way to specifically address scanning setup on that website and my printer already appears to be completely set up correctly...I print to it wirelessly all the time. I even tried the HP troubleshooter but that app does not find any problems either. I can, however, go to my PC, log in to HP Smart, and then I can give a keyboard command to the printer to scan and send a document to my PC.
My question is, is there no way I can give the printer itself the command to scan/send a document after placing the document on the glass without having to walk over to my PC and do it from the desk? That was never a requirement on my other HP printers - I could do everything from the printer itself. My printer and PC are in different rooms so I'm having to walk back and forth. Silly !!
